PS4 Firmware Update v1.51 ist jetzt zum Download verfügbar

Wer sich schon vor dem Launch etwas vorbereiten möchte, darf sich jetzt schon mal das neue Firmware Update v1.51 herunterladen und es auf seinen USB Stick kopieren, damit man am Freitag auch schon gleich loslegen kann: 1) Hier das Update laden 2) Den USB Stick vorbereiten • einen Ordner namens "PS4" erstellen und darin den Ordner "UPDATE" 3) PS4UPDATE.PUP in den letzten erstellen Ordner kopieren 4) PS4 komplett ausschalten, bis das Lichtlein vorne nicht mehr leuchtet (brennt es noch orange, den Power-Knopf mindestens 7 Sekunden lang drücken, bis das System ein zweites mal piepst) 5) USB Stick in den USB Port stöpseln und den Power-Knopf mindestens 7 Sekunden betätigen, bis die PS4 in den "Safe Modus" startet 6) Menüpunkt [Update System Software] anwählen und die Anweisungen befolgen....

Keine Panik! Die Preise für PS4 Titel im PSN Store sind noch nicht final…

In den letzten Tagen gab es den "Aufreger" über zu hohe Preise im UK PSN Store für PS4 Titel. Im Prinzip besteht aber kein Grund zur Panik, denn wie Sony bestätigt, sind die Preise noch nicht final und werden zum Launch der PS4 am Freitag noch angepasst. “Although PS4 launches in Europe on the 29th November, we have switched on the European PSN early to test and make sure that features and functionality are fully operational for launch. However, as PS4 and PSN have not yet officially launched in this region, nothing on the PSN is final, including pricing on the store. You will continue to see some prices adjusted over the next few days in preparation for launch on Friday.”

Pro PSN Account dürft ihr nun wieder 3 tragbare Geräte aktivieren

In der guten alten Zeit, also vor dem 18. 11. 2011, durfte man noch 5 tragbare PlayStations (also… PSP, PS Vita) pro PSN Account aktivieren, danach wurde die Zahl auf "zwei" Geräte zusammen geschrumpft. Sony Computer Entertainment hat aber nun beschlossen, das wieder zu ändern und erlaubt nun wieder drei Geräte, praktisch für PSP, PS Vita und PS Vita.tv Besitzer (wobei letzteres Gerät noch nicht bei uns verfügbar ist. Importieren ist übrigens auch nicht so witzig, da das Gerät bisher nur mit japanischen PSN Accounts funktioniert, aber ich schweife ab…).
