Left Behind erzählt die Vorgeschichte von Ellie, wie sie versuchte, ein unbeschwertes Leben mit ihrer Freundin Riley zu führen, bevor sie auf Joel traf. Der Preis liegt bei knapp 10 Euro. In der Standalone-Version ist ebenfalls die Demo des Multiplayer-Modus enthalten, der separat erhältlich ist.

Naughty Dog kündigte an, dass der ehemalige DLC Left Behind für das Survival-Abenteuer The Last of Us am 12. Mai auch als eigenständiges Spiel für die PS3 und PS4 zum Preis von knapp 10 Euro im PSN Store erscheinen wird. Zusätzlich enthält das Spiel eine 2 Stunden lange Demo zum Multiplayer Modus.
