Derzeit gibt es ein gro\u00dfes Hallo im Interwebz, da Ubisoft es nicht fertig bringt, weibliche Charaktere in das kommende Assassin\u2019s Creed: Unity<\/strong> einzubauen. Deshalb gibt es dazu schon eine Petition<\/a>, die \u00fcber 2000 Stimmen einsammeln konnte. Im Prinzip sollte es es ja kein Problem sein, mehr weibliche Charaktere in ein Spiel zu bringen, doch die Erkl\u00e4rung seitens Ubisoft, warum das nicht funktioniert, ist mehr als fragw\u00fcrdig.<\/p>\n

Anscheinend hat man selbst total vergessen, dass man im besagten „Assassin\u2019s Creed 3: Liberation“ eine weibliche Hauptdarstellerin hatte. Denn laut<\/a> Ubisofts James Therien sei es TOTAL schwierig, Frauen in ein Spiel zu implementieren. Die bewegen sich anscheinend enders als M\u00e4nner und es w\u00e4re zu aufwendig gewesen, sich um die zus\u00e4tzlichen Animationen zu k\u00fcmmern:<\/p>\n

„It was on our feature list until not too long ago, but it’s a question of focus and production, So we wanted to make sure we had the best experience for the character. A female character means that you have to redo a lot of animation<\/strong>, a lot of costumes [inaudible]. It would have doubled the work on those things. And I mean it’s something the team really wanted, but we had to make a decision… It’s unfortunate, but it’s a reality of game development.“<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kommt halt drauf an, was man so animieren m\u00f6chte. Ein H\u00fcftschwung? Wahrscheinlich bleibt’s nicht dabei. Jedenfalls fand dies Jessica Smith, Initatorin der oben genannten Petition, nicht wirklich witzig:<\/p>\n
